Meet students from Penn State College of Engineering and Penn State Engineering Entrepreneurship, Kartikey Pandey Parth Kshirsagar Shreyansh Sahu and Kanika Gupta who wowed the judges and brought home the Best AR/VR Hack award at HackUMass! In just 24 hours, the team developed VR Breadboard, an innovative virtual reality application for the Meta Quest 3. This project creates a realistic, interactive electronics lab experience, allowing users to build and test circuits in a risk-free, immersive environment. Built using Unity and C#, VR Breadboard features real-time circuit simulation, accurate component behavior, and intuitive VR controls. It eliminates the need for physical components, making electronics education more accessible and engaging. The future plan of the team includes expanding the component library, adding circuit analysis tools, guided tutorials, and multi-user collaboration features. The goal is to integrate VR Breadboard into educational curricula and maker spaces, transforming the way electronics are taught and learned. This incredible win showcases the team’s ability to combine technical knowledge with creativity and highlights the innovative spirit of Penn State. Congratulations to the team for this outstanding achievement! Read More about their project here: https://lnkd.in/g5eHN7pn
