The Muskegon Area Career Tech Center hosted its 12th annual Cultivate Michigan program, feeding more than 2,000 students at Montague Area Public Schools and Whitehall District Schools. 👏 The Cultivate Michigan program allows Muskegon ProStart culinary students to work with local food service directors to develop new recipes, which are then taste-tested by students. Through this experience, ProStart students apply the skills they've learned in the classroom by participating in food preparation, plating, and service using the school cafeteria, kitchen, and equipment! 📸: Michigan Restaurant & Lodging Association

From the classroom to the menu! 🍳✨ Morning Story restaurant in Denver, CO is now featuring a winning egg dish created by talented ProStart students. The winning dish was the Campfire Benedict, created by Mackenzie and Taia from the DCSD Legacy Campus in Lone Tree. The dish features blue corn waffles, bacon, hot honey, poached eggs and chipotle Hollandaise. It’s incredible to see these students' hard work come to life in a real-world restaurant setting.
