    I used to manually change my Private Label prices: Huge mistake. Massive Amazon Hack & Tip List - Day 317/365 📝 Okay, our prices should only be fluctuating to try and accomplish one of three things: 1) Make more Total Profit 2) Make more Total Sales 3) Stay in Stock Unless you're doing something very very specific (like reacting to competitor pricing or meeting other agreements), these should cover it. Each of your ASINs should have one of these goals. The problem: It's basically impossible to manually adjust and change all of these prices yourself while maximizing profit. Only AI can do it. Yup. If we're optimizing for Profit or Revenue -> We need to change our price based on: demand, price elasticity, market conditions, and competitors. 1) If the goal is 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁, we balance higher prices (for more profit per unit) with demand to ensure we're making the most overall profit. 2) If the goal is 𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲, 𝗶t might lower prices to sell more units and increase total sales income. 3) Target Velocity -> Instead of focusing on profit or revenue, we aim for a specific 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 (the number of units we want to sell per day). It's great for inventory management. For example: • We have 200 units in stock. • Our next shipment arrives in 10 days. • To avoid stockouts, we need to sell 20 units/day. • We set 20 units/day as our target, and change prices to ensure we hit that average daily velocity. The model adjusts the price to ensure you hit that target velocity, even if it means sacrificing profitability or revenue. The entire goal with this model is to NOT run out of stock. Maybe you could do this with 1-5 SKUs. But it would take a long time. Fuggetaboutit if you have more then 5. This is why I use Profasee I just don't understand why everyone isn't using this software. For real. Markets shift daily. Customer demand fluctuates hourly. It’s the story of how we used precise, data-driven pricing to double profits on a single ASIN using Profasee. Here’s what we did, and what you can learn from it. Now, I’m consistently moving ~1,000 units every month at a higher profit margin. 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗦𝗥 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁: BSR was critical. The algorithm found the optimal pricing range that aligns with customer willingness while locking our BSR between 3,000-5,000. Many brands raise prices only to watch rank drop, but we were able to keep our position secure, maximizing profits and securing long-term growth. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Over 15 months, we tested 20+ price variations, ranging from $13.50 to $18.50. Every price test taught us more about our customers’ sweet spot. Today, we’re locked into that $16.50-$18 range, where profit and volume work together seamlessly. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁? 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 Our margins expanded by 60%, delivering a 2X profit jump YOY. Daily profits on this ASIN now sit at $350. This transformation didn’t come from guesswork; it’s the result of relentless, data-driven adjustments by AI.     Massive Amazon Hack & Tip List - Day 149/365📝 Automatically avoid 270-day storage fees (u no need to use brain): I am loving this new feature from Profasee. BTW they are continually coming out with super cool models to save sellers money. The other ones I am loving: >Charm pricing: Set all prices to $x.x9 >Virtual Bundle pricing: Set all VB's to match your desired discount >Low inventory pricing: Set price to maximum desired when inventory runs low to slow down sales volume They're calling it the "Storage Fee" model. How it works: This feature automatically reduces the prices of SKUs that have been aged over 270 days (number of days is adjustable) to help avoid high storage costs. As you may or may not know, the pain really starts to ramp up around 270 days. One question I had for Chad Rubin: How does the model work if I have some units that are aged over 270 days but some that aren't? For example I send in a shipment of 1000 units, and 100 are left and aging at 270 days. Then, I send in 1000 more. So, at this point I have 1100 total (but only 100 are aging @ 270 days). Does it still lower the price for all of them? What do you think?
