Last week in Los Angeles, PLI presented the final location of Tax Strategies for Corporate Acquisitions, Dispositions, Spin-Offs, Joint Ventures, Financings, Reorganizations & Restructurings 2024. This marquee Tax program, also held this fall in New York and Chicago, focused on the tax issues presented by the entire spectrum of modern major corporate transactions, with insights from policymakers including Scott Levine, Treasury's Assistant Secretary for International Tax Affairs, and Peter H. Blessing, IRS Associate Chief Counsel (International) as well as 145 of the nation’s leading tax practitioners. Demonstrating their commitment to keeping our attendees current, faculty revised presentations in the days before the L.A. program to include up-to-the-minute discussion of the Proposed Regulations on Previously Taxed Earnings & Profits (PTEP) released by the IRS on November 29.
