Such an awesome feature in Polar Signals! Now you can attach arbitrary labels to profiling data in #Rust, #C, #CPP, and #Golang! Think of the possibilities: distributed tracing IDs, usernames, or whatever else can be interesting for you to differentiate profiling data by! And all of that using our zero-instrumentation, low-overhead, #eBPF-based profiler!

Thanks, Bruce Gain for including my thoughts on the matter! Perhaps next time I can try to be more eloquent, but I meant what I said, in many ways C is a good language to build an operating system, but perhaps that's the abstraction where we should stop using C. I'm a huge fan of rust, so I'm still interested to see how this plays out, and I could see it go both ways! https://lnkd.in/dWyzZ3GY

📣 Big day for the Parca.dev project! The previously only open source and open for contributions eBPF-based profiler, is merging (some) efforts with the OpenTelemetry! Find out what it means for Parca users on the blog (spoiler it's only awesome)! 📈 https://lnkd.in/dHY7-wqm
