Exciting news! 🚀 Plug and Play invested in GEMESYS , the Germany-based startup that enables AI hardware vendors to design novel analog chips. The €8.6M pre-seed funding round is led by APEX Ventures and Atlantic Labs and joined by NRW.BANK, Sony Innovation Fund, and Plug and Play. Grant funding from the German government complemented the round. GEMESYS is at the forefront of developing next-generation AI chips. Its novel technology enables entirely analog neural network processing, unlocking new possibilities for high-performance AI training and inference on edge devices. With the new funding, GEMESYS will accelerate research and development and expand its team to further advance its novel chip architecture. 🥳 Congrats to the entire GEMESYS team co-founded by Dr.-Ing.
