Congratulations to the top Support Employee of the Year finalists! 🎉 These incredible staff members were surprised on their campuses last week: ✨ Danielle Niemeyer – Child Development Associate, Mount Vernon Elementary ✨ Kendra Cote – Licensed Practical Nurse, Madeira Beach Fundamental K-8 ✨ Aprillee Domino – Food & Nutrition Manager, Pinellas Park High ✨ Andrew Tremblay – Head Plant Operator, Tarpon Springs Middle ✨ Selena Medina – Professional Learning Secretary These five were selected as finalists out of 156 nominees in five categories. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Largo High School’s Football Coach, Marcus Paschal, as a High School Coach of the Week finalist this week. The finalist with the most votes wins $2,000 for their school’s athletic department. Voting is open NOW until Thursday, November 7 at 11:59 pm. We loved seeing everyone come out this past weekend to learn more about our district application programs. If you missed this one, the last district application fair is today at Northeast High from 6-7:30 pm. Explore 80+ magnet, fundamental, and career academy programs in STEM, performing arts, gifted studies, and more.

Today, students at Bardmoor Elementary made their voices heard in a mock election by voting on the best subject in school and the best lunch item. 🗳️ Some 4th and 5th graders even assisted as poll workers. The Pinellas County Schools Referendum will be on the ballot on November 5th. The one-mill property tax will recruit and retain quality teachers and support staff, preserve music, art, and reading classes, and provide current technology.
