PIANC USA is the U.S. section of the World Association for Waterborne Transport Infrastructure. We are committed to fostering progress in all fields related to waterborne transportation under four Technical Commissions: 1. Inland Navigation 2. Maritime Navigation 3. Recreational Navigation 4. Environmental Since 1902, PIANC USA members have contributed to groundbreaking innovations through the exchange and publication of expert technical information in the areas of planning, design, construction, improvement, maintenance and operation of ports and waterways. PIANC is an international association that brings together renowned experts on technical, economic, and environmental issues pertaining to waterborne transport infrastructure. Our international working groups provide guidance to public and private partners through high-quality technical reports on pressing global navigation issues. PIANC USA members gain access to a global membership directory of industry experts, international networking and collaboration opportunities, professional recognition and awards, not to mention free access to PIANC’s technical report library and special invitations to conferences and events.
