📍The PERCEIVE Parcour exhibition took place on December 9 and 10, 2024, at the Hochschule Luzern, Campus Zug-Rotkreuz. This two-day event showcased the latest advancements from the PERCEIVE project, offering visitors a hands-on experience with innovative scientific demonstrators. The exhibition successfully attracted a diverse audience, including researchers, industry professionals, students, and the general public. 📍Visitors had the opportunity to explore interactive installations, such as the Autochrome Demonstrator, SCREAM Demonstrator, VR CHROMA, and the Gabinetto Segreto. Each of these demonstrators illustrated key concepts in the fields of #culturalheritage preservation, #artificialintelligence, and immersive technologies. The exhibition fostered an engaging environment for learning, dialogue, and exchange of ideas. 📝To assess the effectiveness of the demonstrators and the overall visitor experience, a comprehensive survey was conducted. The survey collected both qualitative and quantitative data, capturing visitor feedback on usability, engagement, and the perceived impact of the technological applications. Visitors provided insights into their experiences, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for further improvement. 📝The survey results indicated high levels of visitor satisfaction, with many participants expressing appreciation for the interactive and immersive nature of the exhibition. Feedback revealed that visitors found the demonstrators to be educational, thought-provoking, and well-executed. This data will be utilized to refine future exhibitions and further enhance the PERCEIVE project's impact on cultural heritage and technological innovation.

📄The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) took an active role in the recent Conference on Cultural Heritage and New Technologies (CHNT), hosted by CHNT-ICOMOS Austria from 4th to 6th of November: https://chnt.at/ 📄As a dedicated partner in the Perceive_horizon project, HSLU engaged the audience with both a poster session and a roundtable discussion in collaboration with other PERCEIVE participants. 📄The poster session introduced an innovative approach to academic presentation. Designed as an infographic, the poster seamlessly integrated QR codes, allowing access to a variety of multimedia resources. Beyond covering traditional poster elements such as objectives, methodology, case studies, and results, it uniquely showcased the VR Chroma experience, inviting viewers to actively engage with digital content. This visually dynamic design elevated the standard for academic presentations, fostering a new level of interaction and engagement in cultural heritage research. 📄At the roundtable on November 4th at the #MuseumfürangewandteKunst, HSLU participated in a discussion led by Dr. Cristiana Barandoni, engaging with PERCEIVE consortium members and other institutes. Key representatives included CNR ISPC - Institute of Heritage Science (Italy), the project’s coordinator, and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) (Norway), who explored innovative digital approaches to preserving and presenting colored cultural collections. 📄Dario Lanfranconi represented HSLU with a presentation on the VR Chroma Project, detailing the careful migration of AR artworks to modern platforms while preserving their authenticity. He situated these works within the Open Museum, highlighting both challenges and innovations in digital art preservation, echoing PERCEIVE’s mission to enhance cultural heritage through advanced technology. 📄 These contributions highlighted HSLU's pioneering efforts in enhancing the preservation and understanding of colored cultural heritage through advanced technologies.
