Yesterday, the Commonwealth hosted a successful blood drive in Harrisburg, with First Lady Lori Shapiro and the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank. We’re proud to announce that 74 pints of blood were donated to help replenish local supplies and address the nationwide shortage. With natural disasters and emergencies on the rise, blood donations are more critical than ever. As First Lady Lori Shapiro said, "Giving blood is something nearly everyone can do, and I encourage Pennsylvanians to get into the habit of giving regularly."
