For Peace Corps Volunteer Alice, service is a family affair. Both of her parents met while volunteering in The Gambia, her mom a Peace Corps Volunteer and her dad a British volunteer. Alice is continuing that story today, serving in The Gambia to support students and boost their foundational skills in reading, writing, and math. Malawi has met the UNAIDS 95-95-95 goals! ✔️ 95% of people living with HIV know their status. ✔️ 95% of those who know their status are on treatment. ✔️ 95% of those on treatment have achieved viral suppression. This milestone reflects the power of grassroots efforts and partnerships. #PeaceCorps Volunteers have worked alongside Malawian communities for decades to educate youth, break stigma, and promote prevention and care.
