Helping people make better healthcare decisions by improving their ability to pay for care

About us

Paytient helps people make better healthcare decisions by improving their ability to pay for care. We do this by bundling or embedding payment solutions like Paytient's Health Payment Account (HPA) and the Medicare Prescription Payment Plan alongside commercial, individual ACA, and Medicare plans. Armed with the power to decide how and when they pay for care, our users change their behavior in ways that improve their health and lower costs for everyone, which benefits plan sponsors. By 2025, Paytient will serve 25M lives and 6,000 enterprise clients including leading employers and payers such as Anthem, Centene, Cigna, R.R. Donnelley, and Hyatt Hotels. The company has earned a 90 NPS and 4.9 stars on Trustpilot. Here on Linkedin, we share insights about what we're learning as the leader in cost smoothing solutions—exploring what it means for consumers and their insurers. We also share updates from our growing team, open positions, and a behind the scenes look at what it really takes to change healthcare for the better.

The SHRM Women in Leadership conference is done, but our mission of making healthcare accessible and affordable has just begun! 💪 Our VP of Growth, Anne Hatfield, loved sponsoring our team and our company at the #WILinsitute this week in Orlando! We shared a message on stage that we hope resonates with all of you. Anne said, “To advance, we must be healthy. To overcome challenges and create opportunities in the workplace, we must feel confident, certain, and hopeful as we approach our individual, and unique healthcare journeys.” Our friendship bracelets we share at our expo booth have also taken every industry by storm. 🤗 If you, too, want to help your people take care, and you want to live your values on your wrists, email sales@paytient.com and we’ll make it happen! ✨ #WomenInLeadership  #HealthcareAffordability #LeadershipDevelopment

💡 What if the key to making healthcare truly affordable isn’t just about insurance, but how we pay for care? Most healthcare expenses are manageable—47% of medical debts are under $2,000—but the way we’re expected to pay them often creates unnecessary stress, delayed care, or extra interest expenses. In our latest blog, we explore how smarter payment design can remove barriers, empower patients, and eliminate the need for interest-bearing debt altogether. Discover how Paytient’s Health Payment Account (HPA) is reshaping affordability and helping employers and payers drive better outcomes. How do you think payment design can impact healthcare accessibility? Let us know in the comments! #HealthcareInnovation #EmployeeBenefits #FinancialWellness

Does Health Insurance Equal Affordable Care? Let's Talk Reality. According to a recent Ipsos study, 72% of insured Americans don’t believe their health insurance provides affordable access to care. This statistic speaks volumes: people expect insurance to help, but many believe it falls short of providing true access to the care they need. That’s because there's a big difference between insuring and ensuring access to care. Out-of-pocket expenses and unpredictable costs continue to create barriers that delay or prevent care, affecting individuals' health, financial stability, job performance, and more. With Paytient’s Health Payment Account (HPA), those costs turn into manageable, interest and fee-free payments, transforming the question of affordability into a resounding "yes." Want to learn how we’re helping bridge the gap? Let’s connect. 💡 #HealthcareAffordability #EmployeeBenefits #BenefitsThatMatter
