The 17th annual Law Department Operation Survey revealed a significant shift in perception. While 62% of the 85 surveyed legal professionals feel their firms lack innovation in gen AI adoption, a rising number—78% in 2024 up from 63% last year—are actively encouraging their firms to integrate gen AI. This marks a notable increase in client support for technological advancement in legal services.
