This quarter the Pavilion team hit it out of the park, crushing goals that felt nearly impossible in the beginning of the year. We celebrated together by playing Padel downtown (on the hottest day of the year)! 🎾🏓💙 Shoutout to Andrew Jung and Harrison Hughes for organizing (and part time coaching). It was fun to learn how to play and to see the super competitive sides of our (usually very collaborative) teammates come out on the court! I’m SO proud of this team and what we’re building together — let’s go! 🚀🥂

Padel is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and has taken the soccer ecosystem by storm, with the likes of Messi, Mo Salah and plenty others taking a liking to it. But more than a dynamic and thrilling sport, I was so surprised to see how it has entrenched itself in NYC and how many of my friends speak highly of the bonds they’re forming through the #padel community. When I saw what Park Padel was building in San Francisco and beyond, I knew I had to get involved. After trying the sport out myself, I brought my friends and family out for an afternoon of fun at the Embacardero location, and they also bought into the hype!
