Congratulations to the 199 organizations recently awarded a gift from MacKenzie Scott! This is an incredible milestone that represents not only a recognition of your impactful work but also an opportunity to scale and sustain your mission. Since 2022, Panorama Global’s Collaborative Learning for Impact Philanthropy initiative has engaged with hundreds of nonprofit and philanthropic leaders to analyze and share sector-wide learnings on the transformative effect of impact philanthropy. We’ve translated these learnings into actionable tools, resources, and communications tailored for two key audiences: nonprofit organizations that want to make the most of these gifts, and funders interested in replicating or learning from this approach. For nonprofit leaders, our playbook and 90-day roadmap are packed with best practices to help you navigate the opportunities of transformative gifts. It's an exciting day in the non-profit world - MacKenzie Scott has announced her latest round of gifts, over $2 billion to 199 organizations. As always, it's a diverse group, reflecting the range of needs in our society, from local food banks like DC Central Kitchen to global health organizations like Partners In Health, along with philanthropic re-grantors like Lever for Change and The Audacious Project. What I found most exciting about this latest message was her recognition that how she invests her funds matters in addition to her philanthropic giving: "In this way, the money can help address these issues twice, first by advancing economic mobility and unlocking the innovation and social benefit that comes from incorporating diverse needs and perspectives in the world being constructed around us, and next in the hands of experienced non-profit teams creating value through their transformative models of care and change." I definitely recommend reading her essay. And if you are in need of ideas for organizations to make an end of year gift to, check out the Yield Giving database, which lists all the organizations Scott has made gifts to. https://lnkd.in/eV3rzJwJ
