As we approach the holidays, we wanted to reflect on one of our highlights of 2024, the launch of the latest generation of thermal conductivity analyzers, the XMTCpro. since its launch in the summer, we have been delighted with demand from our customers eager to improve the accuracy and reliability of their gas concentration monitoring.   Safety Integrity Level (SIL) certified, the XMTCpro is a contamination-resistant process gas analyzer requiring minimal maintenance and featuring Modbus communication. Our customers find it easy to use and appreciate the compactness and its ease of commissioning. The XMTCpro is ideal for continuous use in harsh environments in various industrial applications where measurement speed and real-time detection of process anomalies are required. We were delighted that our advanced flowmeter solutions were able to support a large refinery in North America recently. About to begin a large maintenance program, the refinery first had to overcome a malfunctioning steam system, which was making flare control impossible. It needed an accurate and reliable steam flowmeter. After a competitor’s product failed, and facing the prospect of delaying the maintenance program, the customer turned to Panametrics. Within eight calendar days our project team had not only identified a solution and the parts required, but had scrambled site support, who travelled to the facility and installed a steam flowmeter. As a result, the customer was able to start flare operations and commence its maintenance program within its original timeline. Last week, our MENAT team successfully organized a ‘Technical Day’ event in Kuwait, with invaluable support from STS - Specialized Technical Services - our local channel partner. This marked our first collaboration with STS since they recently became part of Panametrics’ family of Channel Partners. The event attracted more than 60 instrumentation specialists from key customer organizations, plus representatives from local Project Management Consultants and EPCs. The wide ranging sessions, led by YILMAZ CALIK and Saeed Mulla, included how our Flow and Process Analyzers solutions fit into the Oil & Gas upstream and downstream sectors. All agreed the event was a success, reinforcing Panametrics’ reputation as a trusted and recognized brand among key customers in Kuwait.
