The menu and program for tonight's THIRD Snuff Mill Microgala in Wilmington!
OperaDelaware is doing big things! 🎉
- The evening starts with a soup "duet" as we introduce the lovers Mimi and Rodolfo singing excerpts from La boheme.
- A tempura fried ricotta and herb stuffed squash will pair beauty with the passionate "Tu, tu, amore, tu" from Manon Lescaut.
- The third course will feature two arias from Tosca and a stunning charred Branzino filet with broccoli rabe and lemon-artichoke purée.
- The passionate love in "Vogliatemi bene" from Madama Butterfly is paired with a sumptuous dish: prime ribeye with roasted garlic potatoes, marinated fennel, and Tuscan bread topped with foie butter.
- We're rounding out the night with the steadfast love of "Un bel di vedremo" from Madama Butterfly and "Nessun Dorma" from Turandot. The dessert will be a stunning dark chocolate ganache tarte with an Italian chocolate martini.
