Proud to highlight this OnlineMedEd peer pearl from resident Dr. Brooklynne Palmer, MD, who shares how OME's approach to thinking like a doctor from day one can actually make medical school manageable for students who are feeling overwhelmed and anxious. Educational technology that simply perpetuates the memorization and regurgitation trap that is literally making students unwell needs to stop. Dr. Palmer says "I’m so glad I didn’t follow the advice of colleagues who told me to just “show up and learn on the job.”.... instead she came to residency more prepared to take care of her patients in part because of how we designed our content.
