Happy Small Business Saturday! Small businesses are the heartbeat of the Broadway District and we hope today and everyday, you remember to shop small. 2/3 of what is spent at local small businesses is recycled back into our community. This helps support so many other projects and initiatives that make our community thrive!

About us
On Broadway, Inc. (OBI) is a non-profit organization formed in 1995 through a grassroots effort to improve the Broadway District and create a vibrant downtown community. The Broadway District is boarded by Mather St. on the north, Mason Street on the south, Ashland Avenue on the west and the Fox River on the east. OBI is a Main Street Program following the five-point approach to revitalization that includes Design, Economic Restructuring, Marketing, Organization and Promotional Events. Each of these areas is overseen by a committee made up of volunteers from the community who meet once a month and work with staff, district businesses, and other volunteers to accomplish projects.

Having community-focused partners by your side when tackling a large project is vitally important to the success of that project. We'd like to thank Camera Corner Connecting Point for offering their expert services and team members for our Green Bay Public Market groundbreaking. Their on-site team ensured high-quality sound for those in attendance as well as ensuring the media had access to proper equipment for their needs. These experiences don’t happen by chance. At On Broadway, Inc., our team works hard to bring the events and atmosphere that make the district feel like home. Coming together is a beginning, staying together is progress, and working together is success.” — Henry Ford Project for Public Spaces states that public markets can provide economic and social benefits. Projects with those types of benefits do not happen easily and are never done alone. Our Green Bay Public Market team has been beyond fortunate to have incredible public market partners walking along side of us through this process. Paul Schwartz has been an impactful mentor, helping us navigate a never ending list of questions. And who better to learn from than someone who heads up the #1 public market in the country. Our newest partner, Keisha Harrison is tasked with bringing Madison its own public market and after meeting her this week, we are confident she will succeed. As a statewide public market team, we are excited to offer these amazing community gathering and small business building places to our communities and visitors to those communities. Thank you Paul & Keisha! Brian Johnson | Ron Franklin | Brooke Hafs | Mary Rhode
