This holiday season, NWI Wichita employees stepped up to bring joy to thousands of local families by volunteering at The Salvation Army South Central Kansas Angel Tree Gift Distribution. Our team had the privilege of helping distribute donated Christmas gifts, ensuring children and families in need experienced the magic of the season. Adding to the festive spirit, we brought our very own Maui from Moana to spread some holiday cheer. We are honored to support such a meaningful cause. This past weekend, we celebrated the season at NWI Wichita at our Holiday Open House. Employees and their families were welcomed for some festive fun with a delicious lunch, bingo, cookie decorating, crafts for the kids, and an opportunity for families to tour our shop and see a glimpse of the amazing work happening here every day. Recently, our Nashville team came together to contribute to Glengarry Elementary's warm clothes drive, donating an assortment of coats, scarves, hats, and gloves. NWI Wichita proudly hosted our annual United Way breakfast to kick off our United Way of the Plains campaign! NWI Wichita employees were 'Creepin' it Real' at the Park City Chamber Trunk or Treat event. Our team transformed our van into a mummy, brought a giant plinko game for kids to enjoy, and handed out goody bags packed with spooky airplanes and treats for all the little ghouls and goblins. 🧛♂️👻 We loved connecting with our community and bringing some fun to families. We recently had the privilege of recognizing a wonderful group of employees who have reached milestone anniversaries with NWI Wichita in 2024 – ranging from 5 to an incredible 40 years! It was a great event filled with laughter, gratitude, and reflection. Many of our honorees brought guests to share in the celebration, making the time together even more special. Managers took turns sharing fun – and at times, very touching – stories about each employee, highlighting their unique contributions and the positive impact they've made over the years.
