About us
With both the population of Northwest Arkansas and the number of people who face financial hardship continuing to grow, the need for food distribution services to those facing or experiencing hunger is increasing. It is through partnerships with over 160 member agencies that we are able to reach out to those in need. In NWA the there are 70,000 people facing hunger insecurity. It is our mission to work towards an end of this issue through strong partnerships with local companies, organizations and community members.

Meet Santa and help fight hunger in Northwest Arkansas! 🎁🎄 Follow along with our Advent Calendar to help provide hope to households experiencing food insecurity. Together, we can make the holidays brighter for all of our neighbors in NWA! How to participate: 💚Pick up a holiday collection box from the Food Bank by November 26 at 3 p.m. (1604 Honeysuckle St. in Lowell). 🤍 Each day from December 1-15, add a new food item to the box. ❤️ Return the completed boxes to the Food Bank. On December 20, Santa will be at the Food Bank from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for photos 🎅📸 and to help us collect food boxes! 💚💪📦 #FeedingNWA #AdventCalendar #Santa

Dollar General’s mission is #ServingOthers and helping address food accessibility is our passion. Earlier this month, in celebration of Thanksgiving, 17 DG employees across multiple areas of the business came together to exhibit our mission and volunteer with the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank. In addition to packing 75 bundles of rice, helping with labeling and cleaning – DG presented a $1,000 donation to the food bank. “Beyond supporting one of the many communities DG calls home, the experience helped build a sense of community amongst our DG family,” shared Suman Pattnaik, vice president, IT engineering, who organized the volunteer effort. Thank you to our team members for their dynamic participation!

Looking for a fun way to get involved and support the Northwest Arkansas Food Bank for 2025? 🍽️ 1 in 6 neighbors in NWA are considered food insecure. 🍏 It takes $25,000 a month to serve neighbors at Feed Rogers, our client-choice food pantry. 🛒 Cart sponsorships provide money to purchase food for Feed Rogers. For a donation of $150, your name will be featured on a sign placed on the end of a Feed Rogers shopping cart. Signage will be placed on the cart for one month.
