The early phase trials unit at The Kinghorn Cancer Centre led by translational lead Jia (Jenny) Liu shared their research experience setting up institutional readiness for solid tumor cellular therapies St Vincent’s Health Network Sydney today at the Fast Forwards session for #ResearchWeek2024 and won the Chair’s prize! Congratulations to all involved for exemplary collaboration across the hospital between oncology, haematology, intensive care, emergency, neurology and respiratory to get the first patient safely dosed on a CRC CAR-T trial. Looking forward to seeing additional patients enrolled and exciting cellular therapies opening for autoimmune conditions and other cancers at TKCC/SVH.
