Meet Pankesh Patel, Deputy Director of Project Management. Pankesh oversees a wide array of capital projects, mostly in Central New Jersey. One of his most interesting projects involves installing electric charging stations. For his own charge, Pankesh relies on tea and peanut butter pretzels.

Today, Commissioner Fran O’Connor joined elected officials and professionals to highlight the success of intersection safety improvements along Route 1&9, which have already reduced crashes and saved lives. At NJDOT, we’re committed to making our roads safer for everyone.
