🔦 Meet Kathyrn ‘Kat’ McVay, our dynamic and dedicated Operations Manager at DC Cook Nuclear Plant! 🏭   With a career as diverse as it is inspiring, Kat brings a wealth of experience and a passion for excellence to her role.   Starting her journey with New Image in 2012 as a cleaning associate, Kat transitioned into hospitality before returning in 2019 as an Assistant Supervisor. Her commitment and leadership shone through, leading her to her current Operations Manager role in 2022. Along the way, Kat earned her Regional Building Service Manager (RBSM) Certification and is now pursuing her AEP Supplemental Supervisor Certification.   Her professional background spans industries—from food service and retail to teaching, case management, park services, and hospitality—making her uniquely equipped to navigate challenges and lead her team with skill and empathy.   Kat credits her team's dedication and hard work for making her job a joy: “I enjoy my job, even with the proverbial bumps in the road at times.
