Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) reposted this
“From an affordability perspective, getting those reps and sets in in the simulator, where we don’t need to pay for a lot of gas, we’re not putting all those hours on the engines, it is a huge dividend." -Derek Greer, Integrated Battlespace Simulation and Test Department Head, Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) The United States Air Force's and US Navy F-35 Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) is a scalable, networked, and high-fidelity full mission simulator system. The services plan to grow the capability from its current carrier-borne and single land site, to being hosted at all F-35 operating bases. With the ability to introduce virtual airborne threats to simulate adversary air, and future simulated platforms such as F-22 on the roadmap, the JSE represents the higher end of the Live-Virtual-Constructive environment capability. https://lnkd.in/g4mPGYmg #pilottraining #airforce #airpower #aviation #aerospace Lockheed Martin

Congratulations, Kehnia! Let’s take #NavalAviation higher! ✈️
🎓 Big News – I’m Officially an Aggie Grad! 🎓 I am proud to share that I have graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a degree in Computer Science! This milestone is a testament to perseverance, hard work, and the incredible support I’ve received from my family, mentors, and Aggie community. I’m even more excited to announce that I’ll be starting my career with the Department of Defense at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) as part of the Engineer and Scientist Development Program (ESDP). As a Computer Scientist, I look forward to contributing to groundbreaking projects, advancing my technical skills, and making an impact in support of our nation’s defense mission. To my fellow graduates and the HBCU community: let’s continue to break barriers and set new standards in STEM and beyond. The best is yet to come!

#USNavalTestPilotSchool graduates Class 165 🎓 🎉 ✈️A graduation ceremony recognizing 31 new test pilots, flight officers, engineers, and international partners representing eight different military organizations, and four government agencies worldwide, happened Friday at Naval Air Station Patuxent River. 🚀This year's keynote address was out of this world: Astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore, both #USNTPS alum, dropped in from the International Space Station along with U.S. Space Force's Col. Nick Hague to inspire this new cohort of testers by sharing some of their incredible experiences as testers and beyond. 🚁Congratulations to all on this remarkable achievement!

#NAWCAD 🤝 small business | Our teammates at Lakehurst emphasized the critical role small businesses play advancing capability for #NavalAviation and our warfighters during ProcurementCon, an event that brings government organizations together with small and non-traditional industry partners. JSE, Incoming | #NAWCAD's Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) is the first simulator that gives aviators a true sense of fear. Why? Because is trains tactical pilots with the best representation of air threats and the electromagnetic spectrum anywhere. Today, defense and allied aviators can only get this experience at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, but NAWCAD's JSE pros are scaling this capability to Edwards and Nellis Air Force Bases in 2025. More on what's ahead for JSE in this Defense One feature: https://lnkd.in/et-8DsSg

Around the Command: #NAWCAD Lakehurst planted its first tree in a planned park dedicated to #NAWCADians who have served with the U.S. armed forces. More than 300 veterans work at our New Jersey site alone.
