  • Earlier this month, NDI had an incredible gathering at the University of Illinois Chicago. Over 25 disability partners, agencies, providers, self-advocates, family members and professionals came together for a Resource Mapping workshop. We collaborated to identify and connect the dots between available support and resources, opening new doors to better financial futures for people with disabilities. A huge thank you to the Illinois Council on Developmental Disabilities and The Coleman Foundation for making this important work possible! Image description: Four square photos. (Second) A participant places a sticky note on a notepad poster on the wall titled “Free Tax Preparation & EITC”. (Third) A participant writes their thoughts on a sticky note to place on a notepad poster on the wall titled “Financial Education”.
