Our Supportive Housing team hosted Barn Babies Traveling Petting Zoo again, this time at our Reading location at Frank Tanner Drive. Animal therapy of the best sort, with visitors including a goat (not the Brady type), a pig, rabbits, a parrot and much more. You can see how blissful the residents look! The MVES Protective Services Department participated in a holiday scam prevention workshop at Stoneham Senior Center. Scammers love targeting older adults, and this time of year, they're working overtime. We had some excellent organizations helping to present and support this program, including Middlesex Sheriff's Office, Boys & Girls Club of Metro North and Stoneham Alliance Against Violence. Thank you to the Stoneham Council on Aging and Stoneham Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Community for organizing this event and making scam prevention a priority.
