Welcome to the world, sweet boy! As we reflect on this journey, we are truly grateful for how we arrived here. Two years ago we took a leap of faith, believing in someone who believed in me, leaving behind family, friends, a 17-year career and the only home we had ever known. It was HARD. Motivated by our deep desire to embrace parenthood after a challenging three-year struggle, we said yes to Murphy USA mostly for its one-time medical benefit offering that would support continuing our fertility journey. Little did we know it would become much more than that. New friends, a new community of love and support, a new church family we love. Coworkers I couldn’t do each day without. Today, we are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby boy—a dream realized that makes every hardship worthwhile! Our precious miracle! The unwavering support from my leaders and teammates has been invaluable as we navigated the fertility journey and now the joys of parenthood. The stress that goes along with that is much easier when you have thoughtful leaders and a workplace culture that is big hearted and supports their people.
