Business owners - take note. An injunction filed last week has resulted in the temporary suspension of FinCen's Beneficial Ownership Information report requirements. What does this mean for you? If you have not filed your BOI report, the January 1, 2025 deadline has been lifted, and at this time you are not required to file. You may still submit a report on a voluntary basis. This is a temporary suspension pending further litigation, so it is possible that FinCen may update or renew BOI requirements in the future.
