Monterey Bay Economic Partnership (MBEP) is a regional nonprofit, membership organization consisting of public, private and civic entities located throughout the counties of Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz. Founded in 2015, our mission is to improve the economic health and quality of life in the region. Monterey Bay Economic Partnership envisions a thriving region with quality jobs, excellent education and health care, while preserving the natural beauty and healthy lifestyle we all share. MBEP’s strategy is to create and implement initiatives aligned with this vision.

  • 🏥 Big News from Our #MBEPMember, Kaiser Permanente! Kaiser Permanente is expanding healthcare access in our region with a new state-of-the-art Medical Office opening in Salinas next month! The facility will offer primary and specialty care, labs, pharmacy, radiology, and more to better serve the community. They recently celebrated this milestone with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking an exciting step toward enhanced healthcare access in the area. Starting next month, Kaiser Permanente health plans will also be available through Covered California for Small Business (CCSB) in Monterey County, providing small businesses access to affordable, high-quality healthcare.
