#12DaysofGratitude Day 1 of Gratitude from Innovation Portal In 2014 the Mobile Chamber took their annual #LeadersExchange trip to St. Louis. That trip, and a subsequent trip to New Orleans in 2015, laid the foundation for Innovation Portal. The leadership of the Mobile Chamber and the Mobile Chamber of Commerce Foundation recognized the opportunity for an incubator and accelerator to positively impact the greater Mobile region and raise up a new generation of entrepreneurs. From that vision and the groundwork laid back then, thousands of people in our community have been positively impacted. Starting first as a program of the Mobile Chamber, then as a part of the Mobile Chamber Foundation, Innovation Portal was able to build a team, programs, a facility, and much more! In 2023, the Portal began operating fully as an independent 501c3 organization, but even today the partnership with the Chamber through the MobileCan shows just how important our collaboration still is. Thank you to the Mobile Chamber and Foundation, its leadership, and board members throughout the last decade for helping our community step into this reality. You are a gift to us. #gratitude #MobileAL #entrepreneurship #GetStarted
