Half-Life: A Crucial Metric for Mobile Game Success. Different financial instruments are appropriate for apps/games with different duration metrics. ⛄Platform payouts over the holidays - Don’t get caught out. For Apple, sales between December 1st and December 28th are expected to be paid out on January 30th. But for the all important period of December 29th to February 1st, payments are not expected until March 6th.
