#MinutemanPress #Franchise Owner LaTasha Ward Celebrates Grand Reopening in Crofton, MD https://lnkd.in/eCvEmJ-g LaTasha Ward is the owner of the Minuteman Press franchise in Crofton, MD since April of 2024. The #design, #printing, and #marketing center has been operating in the community for 15 years. On October 22, 2024, LaTasha celebrated her grand reopening alongside family, friends, business clients, event sponsors, and even a local radio host. Minuteman Press in Crofton is located at 2217-A Defense Highway, Crofton, MD 21114. Event Details: “We had three sponsors for our grand reopening: The Bowie Chamber of Commerce; the Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce; and the Bi-County Business Roundtable. Radio host Autumn Joi from WLIT 106 came out to help promote our special event. The event was attended by so many amazing guests. My sorority sisters, my Fairmont Heights High School alumni family, other local business owners (both prospects and clients) from Prince George’s County, my Regional VP Bob Heimbuch, and my family and friends were all there to show their support. My mom Brenda J. Simpson and my daughter Tahjai Ward are my biggest supporters. Thanks for the love, support and encouragement.” #Community: “We all work hard every day to stay relevant and grow each other’s businesses. Our clients are happy we are here as Minuteman Press has been in the community for over 15 years. I am happy to be the new owner.” Products: “We do tons of flyers, business cards, t-shirts, and #promotionalproducts. Every day, someone in our area comes through our door because they just opened a new business. The business owners are always trying to get the word out so they come back for reprints or something new to use as giveaways.” Applying Skillset: “Marketing Consulting is my background and passion. I have been in the promotional products business for over 15 years. Having the Minuteman Press brand behind me and running an in-house print shop is huge. The name recognition was important to me as I know people trust the brand.” Why Minuteman Press? “The winning system and support is why I choose Minuteman Press. Seeing the other success and the longevity of the other owners gave me hope. Having a system that my team could follow and having the support of MPIHQ means that we never feel like we are alone. The training helped us to be able to have confidence and do real business at our location. Each month we are learning and growing.” What’s next? “We are just getting started and I know that if we continue to follow the Minuteman Press system, we will continue to put smiles on our customers’ faces and hit new sales milestones just like other franchise owners that have been doing this for 2, 5,7 and 10 years or more. We look forward to being around and winning with Minuteman press for years to come.” Congratulations LaTasha!

#MinutemanPress #Franchise Owner Jeffrey Meyers Talks First-Year #Business #Growth in Crown Point, IN https://lnkd.in/eMWrxjcR Jeffrey Meyers is the owner of Minuteman Press in Crown Point, IN since December of 2023. With the help of Regional VP Steve Szymanski, Jeff purchased 30-year print shop NWI Print Pro and transitioned the business to Minuteman Press in Crown Point. Buying the business: “I currently still own an insurance business and I was looking to invest in another business with high growth potential. Minuteman Press provided the playbook, the support, and the tools necessary for me to operate and grow a printing business.” Buying Process: “I liked the appeal of a business with an established customer base and NWI Print Pro fit the bill. The sellers Tim and Phil felt the same way I did – that Minuteman Press would provide the necessary support and training to carry the business forward and continue their legacy. Having Steve Szymanski and Minuteman Press help throughout the buying process was huge. Steve is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He was a great sounding board for both myself and the sellers and Steve made everyone feel comfortable. This made it easy for both parties to come to an agreement.” Transition & Training: “The transition has been smooth. We retained most of the staff and one of the previous owners Phil still works with us. Tim also still comes by once or twice per week to check in and help out. Everyone at Minuteman Press has been phenomenal this whole year. The #training was great and the on-site setup and local support has really helped me learn the ropes. For us, this first year was all about understanding the existing business and Minuteman Press was a huge help. Now that we are approaching the second year, we plan to take what we’ve learned and push even harder. We are positioned well, priced right, and plan to continue growing as a one-stop printing and marketing provider.” Keys to First-Year Growth: --“My business partner Matt Glaros and I said that when we bought the business, we wanted to reinvest in it to spark growth. We’ve invested in new equipment such as a new color machine that enables us to produce orders we get from clients for spiral-bound legal work. --We have streamlined our operations and made our center more efficient. --We have two out-bound salespeople that are following the Minuteman Press system and marketing the business daily. They are selling everyday printing (business cards, letterheads, stationery) and upselling additional products and services.” Advice for Others: “It’s so important to have trustworthy employees. Most of the staff has stayed on since the transition and it’s been a huge help since they know the business and the customers. Treating employees right and keeping a positive work environment is the best advice I can give.” Congrats!

#MinutemanPress #Franchise Scores #Branding Partnership with Dorchester Football Club https://lnkd.in/eu32ECZK David and Juanita Prince are the owners of Minuteman Press in Dorchester, England. In 2024, David and Juanita have strengthened their winning relationship with the Dorchester Town Football Club and their #apparel kit sponsor Acerbis. As a result, Minuteman Press in Dorchester is now the primary branding partner for Dorchester Town FC kit. Building the Relationship: “We started sponsoring the Dorchester Ladies FC following the pandemic for the 2021 season helping them with match fees. In 2022, we sponsored an away kit for the ladies. For the past few years, we have printed stickers, some paper programs, weekly game posters, and small-run club signage for the main Dorchester Football Club. These were all small jobs. In April of 2024, we were approached by one of the Dorchester Town youth teams about providing them with a branded kit. In trying to find the right #logo, we were approached by the main Dorchester Town Football Club asking if we were interested in attending their youth tournament and potentially working with their kit sponsor Acerbis and becoming their branding partner. The tournament hosted over 200 teams over the May bank holiday. We met with the GM of Acerbis UK and then attended the tournament where we showcased some of our branded items. Things have progressed from there and we started working with them on more and more kits.” That First Big Order: “The first job we were asked to complete was to apply the Dorchester Town FC badge and sponsors’ logos to the First Team training kit. This was 245 items of clothing, and about 300 logos which Juanita turned around in two weeks! The next stage was the First Team home and away kits. We needed to apply various sponsors’ logos across various kit items, shirts and shorts. This added up to over 540 different logos. Subsequently, we have branded the U23s kit and have branded two youth teams, one with a full home kit and the other with training wear. We also have two more teams in the pipeline, and we are now branding over 230 Items for their youth team managers, which is another exciting and profitable piece of business that we won in late August of 2024.” New Projects: “We are now working with Dorchester FC and their club online shop. We have just received the first order of 45 pieces of kit which we will acquire and brand. The club will then send these out to supporters in Dorchester and across the UK. Our next project is creating non-clothing items for the club shop, such as branded mugs, key rings, boot bags, coasters, umbrellas, and other items that we can find and brand for them. This is the first time for a long time that the club has had the opportunity to offer such a wide range of products and we are all excited as to where this might go.” Congrats!

Ryan Gaylord Transitions From Foodservice to #Printing Industry, Grows #MinutemanPress #Franchise in Lake Oswego, OR https://lnkd.in/egKRNRq5 Transition from Foodservice to Printing: “I owned 3 Subway franchise locations and before that I was a Customer Service Manager. I chose Minuteman Press for: --Support from Minuteman Press and other franchisees --Growth opportunities at the location I purchased --High quality employees at the location I purchased --Low quantity of employees needed to run a location The #training and #support have been great from RVP Chris Jutt and my local staff. It is nice having someone local that I can contact rather than a large call center. Having a field rep on site for the first two weeks was very helpful. The franchisee training was convenient and everyone was knowledgeable. Pete Taglino and Tom Carnesi at MPIHQ did a very good job of going over the Minuteman Press franchise system and laying the foundation for how to use their proprietary FLEX software before I took over the business.” Connecting in the #Community: “I recently moved to the area, so I have been actively meeting our neighbors. I have also been reconnecting with family and friends that I have not seen in a while and I’m coaching my son’s soccer team. We have a very diverse business community ranging from high end goods and services to economical goods and services. We deal with a lot of tradespeople and architects, so we get a wide range of customers visiting us.” Growing the #Business: “We’ve grown through referrals, customer service, quick turnaround times, and being on site to meet customers. Our high-demand product is blueprints, and our key growth area is signage. We have a flatbed printer and router that enable us to do a lot of different signage and I would love to utilize it even more.” Rewards: “The biggest personal reward is having a good work-life balance. I love having the freedom to do things like coach my son’s team and spend time with family. The biggest professional rewards are hitting our monthly goals and always having the opportunity to surpass our goals. There is always something to work on or improve and seeing those improvements come to light is very satisfying.” Advice for Others: “Learn the day-to-day operations of your location so you can make sure things are running efficiently. On the other hand, do not get bogged down in the day-to-day operations so you can focus on growing your business. There is a fine line between helping your team and just becoming another member of the team. Make sure you still focus on growth.” Congratulations! #entrepeneur #printingbusiness #smallbusiness

Thanks Printing Impressions for sharing our news of our #grandopening in Grand Blanc, MI! https://lnkd.in/ejnDj7MD Meet #Mompreneur Samantha Hilliker Prior to Minuteman Press in Grand Blanc, Samantha was a stay at home mom to help raise her 4 children. At the same time, she always wanted to own her own #business. She says, “My college degree is in Business Administration and Robin’s degree is in Marketing. Before Starbucks was on every corner, I wrote a business plan to open a coffee shop and have never forgotten the feeling of letting a great opportunity go past me. I have dreamed of opening a business ever since.” Samantha continues, “I also dreamed of raising a #family and once our first child arrived we decided I would be the stay at home parent. It has been my job and my priority for the better part of 21 years now. It has been, and will always be, my greatest accomplishment ever to raise my children.” At the same time, Samantha says, “While I was a stay at home mom, I used my seamstress skills (passed down from my mom and grandmother) to build a name for myself in our #community offering alterations, making one-of-a-kind items and dance costumes. That’s why my social media channels were all SeeSamSew… and now they are SeeSamPrintandPromoteYOU!” She adds, “Studying business; running a household of 6 (now 7 since my father-in-law moved in with us a few years back); managing kids sports, dance and personal schedules; running a sewing business; and homeschooling our children for the past 5 years have all been a great training ground for now opening this business. I guess you could say I’m good at balancing many things at once. Two of our children are adults now and our youngest children are old enough to do most of their studies on their own so we felt like the time to jump on this opportunity was finally right.”
