Last night, we recognized 226 of our teachers newly designated, continuing designation, or increased designations through the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)! Our district, through the TIA program, identifies and designates outstanding teachers based on student growth and classroom observation. There are three designation tiers: Recognized: $3,000 to $9,000 per teacher Exemplary: $6,000 to $18,000 per teacher Master: $12,000 to $32,000 per teacher Our group of teachers will receive a payout totaling just over $1.97 million in compensation! Major kudos to our Human Capital team, led by Mrs. Barrera, for organizing the group and ensuring a smooth presentation! Midland ISD Karina Barrera
