  • Can you believe it’s already Christmas week? 🎄 For us who cherish the holidays, it’s bittersweet to see the festivities close out. Yet, many find gratitude in this chance to unwind and regain rest. 😴 The holidays can take a toll on us mentally and physically. Prioritize time to kick up your feet and reward yourself with the holiday care needed to feel completely like yourself again. 🤸♀️ There are no real rules for what self-care should look like, whether that involves rescheduling plans, needing alone time, or simply doing nothing. You deserve rest. You deserve to feel safe. You deserve joy! 💚 #YouMatterToUs #Holidayseason2024 #Rest #selfcarematters #MentalHealthMatters

  • 💡 New plans. New perspectives. Same heart. 💚 With 12 days remaining in 2024, we are eager to prepare for a successful year, and our leadership is bringing the kind of energy that makes everyone feel seen, supported, and unstoppable. Maryland Wellness hosted its "Leadership Retreat and Strategy Planning" at bwtech@UMBC Research and Technology Park to assess the organization collaboratively. "The retreat focused on our current position, the feedback from team members and community partners, and our opportunities for improvement. The goal is to enhance our internal processes and explore broader initiatives that could create a more significant impact. This gathering allowed us to review, develop, and refine our organizational strategic plan for 2025 and beyond", said Keyur “Ken” Thakkar, our COO. As we build relationships with our new leaders, exciting conversations emerge! Our leadership team is committed to enhancing services, strengthening support, and providing even more heartfelt care to everyone we serve. Together, we can achieve extraordinary things! #YouMatterToUs #MentalHealthMatters #BigPlans #LeadershipInAction #StrategicPlanning #Retreat #NewYear2025

  • As fun as the holidays sound, stress can exhaust some of us. Prioritizing travel, family, and traditions can be overwhelming, making us want to isolate ourselves for a moment of peace. ✨ If you need quality time to yourself, whatever that means for you, take it and embrace what you need during this season. Remember, we can't be everything to everyone all the time. It's perfectly okay to take a step back to recharge and put your well-being first. 💚 #YouMatterToUs #HolidaySeason #MentalHealthMatters #SelfCare #YouAreImportant

  • A visit to the past can evoke uncomfortable emotions that we’d rather avoid confronting once more. It’s hard to accept that some things are unchangeable, but this beautiful moment marks the start of a new day. The holiday season, a time of celebration, can be triggering for some. Focus on what you can control: your actions and mindset. It’s fine to set boundaries, simplify plans, or prioritize meaningful connections to create a “brand new ending” If new, healthier traditions are what you need, it’s never too late to change. #youmattertous #holidayseason #mentalhealthtips #newtraditions
