The best part of reaching ten years in business? We still get little pangs of delight when we see you inviting us into your kitchens. Allow us to tell you a bit of our story, if you don’t already know: Jorge Gaviria, Miami native and author of the MASA book, started Masienda in 2014 to source non-GMO corn for chefs and industry professionals interested in making nixtamalized tortillas. Today, we are proud to provide cooks around the country with two-ingredient corn tortillas, heirloom corn masa harina, and other pantry essentials and cookware sourced from Mexico. Our supply chain for heirloom corn is unique in that it is made up of traditional farmers in Mexico who grow for their own and their community’s consumption. Together, we are helping to preserve the genetic diversity of this crucial crop. We’re on a mission to connect more people to the culinary and cultural richness of the Mexican kitchen. Join us.

It takes a village to get a product like corn tortillas certified organic for Whole Foods Market nationwide, and the Masienda team happens to be a very special village. #cpg #retailgrocery #nopreservatives #organic

Big news: better-for-you corn tortillas made from just two ingredients are now available Whole Foods Market nationwide. This launch was seven years in the making. We can't wait to share more about how it all came to life. What do you want to know about the process of bringing organic corn tortillas to market?

Hellooo, Texas! We are so thrilled that all four colors of our masa are now available at Central Market locations across the Lone Star State. Our team is working hard this year to bring better masa to grocery stores and retailers near you. We're so grateful for your support! Now, who's making tacos tonight?
