Thank you to the hundreds of community members and #MarinHealth staff and physicians who joined us last week in #Petaluma for the grand opening of our new multi-specialty clinic! Attendees toured the facility, enjoyed fun activities that promoted health and wellness, and celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring MarinHealth CEO David Klein, MD, MBA and Petaluma Mayor Kevin McDonnell. We couldn't have asked for a better turnout and we’re grateful for the warm welcome from all who attended. We look forward to caring for patients at our new clinic (located at 335 South McDowell Blvd) beginning December 3!

Meet Hana O. a bright star at #MarinHealth whose journey from volunteer to Medical Assistant exemplifies dedication and a passion for healthcare. Living in #Novato, Hana first discovered the MarinHealth Volunteer Services program through a friend of a friend. With a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of California, Riverside and a strong desire to make a difference in #healthcare, she eagerly signed up to volunteer, seeking to explore various roles within the hospital. A little more than a year later, she’s working in our MarinHealth #Urology clinic in Greenbrae. She enjoys being a “first point of contact” for patients and their families. You can quit smoking today, but it takes years to quit worrying about lung cancer. That’s why smokers and ex-smokers are increasingly getting proactively screened, to catch tumors while they are still small and easier to treat.
