About us
For successful independent consultants, building a team is the clear next step. But when you’re the expert, it’s hard to delegate the sales and delivery of projects to other members of your team. We’ve been there before. LexisClick was initially founded by Stephen Bavister who decided he needed a hand delivering big projects he was bringing in. From the day the company was formed, the business was reliant on Steve to remain operational. The major turning point for us was when we realised getting rid of the boss was the solution. Not quite literally, but without the owner being present, the business wouldn't run. Meaning without Steve there was no business. After this realisation, we immediately began looking for ways to engineer Steve out of the business, so it wasn't reliant on him. It took us over 3 years and £250,000 to find a solution - we needed to productise our offerings. As a result of successfully transitioning to the productised consultancy model, we’ve made it our mission to help other owner managed consultants to engineer themselves out of their business by productising their offerings.
