Michigan's PACE financing marketplace
About us
Lean & Green Michigan™ is one of America’s first statewide Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) initiatives – and Michigan’s marketplace for energy efficiency and renewable energy financing. We help commercial, industrial and multi-family property owners finance energy projects, eliminate waste and save money through innovative financing solutions that make energy projects profitable for all parties – property owners, contractors, financial institutions, and even municipalities which experience a growing tax base. Lean & Green Michigan™ is a public-private partnership that uses Michigan's new PACE statute but takes a market-based approach to energy finance and economic development. In essence, we leverage the PACE statute to maximum effect by using private capital to solve companies' energy problems, to create work for contractors, and to green our communities. Counties, cities and townships host the Lean & Green Michigan™ PACE district, but they pay nothing to initiate the program or for ongoing program administration and bear no risk. Property owners, contractors and financial institutions get a free market in which to arrange energy deals that pencil out for all involved, using the PACE financing mechanism to lower the cost of capital and create positive cash flow from day one. By creating a statewide district, Lean & Green Michigan™ creates one set of efficient and flexible rules that bring maximum benefit to all parties. Even as Lean & Green Michigan™ is propagating Property Assessed Clean Energy, it is important to understand that PACE will not work for every property owner in every situation. We are committed to helping property owners and other parties find the energy efficiency or renewable energy financing solution that best meets their needs.

Evans. “Reaching this milestone reflects my administration’s commitment to building a greener future, recognizing that environmental sustainability is not just an option—it’s essential.” Lean & Green Michigan, the administrator of the state’s PACE program, has released several new Wayne County case studies showcasing the impact of these projects. When investing in a long term asset like multifamily housing or office space, you need to be forward thinking. At one point Wi-Fi was a nice thing to have, now it's an absolute necessity. EV charging station may not seem like a must have now, but as adoption grows, tenants may pass up on buildings that don't have access to chargers. Want to learn more about how to fund these upgrades to your existing building or implement them into your construction plans? Take a look at Property Assessed Clean Energy as a financing tool. If you want to learn more about how you can fund your EV charging infrastructure, contact Lean & Green Michigan, visit us at https://lnkd.in/giCF-Gnd, or contact me directly.
