Naturally, dependencies and external constraints get in the way of agile. From your technology stack to the way your funding models are set up, everything seems to be at odds with agile. Unfortunately, the frameworks and methodologies that were supposed to help you manage the complexity are also the same things standing in the way of business agility. Here's the problem: There seems to be pressure to make agile frameworks "a thing", to make them something tangible, prescriptive, and ready to implement "out of the box". But when frameworks are treated as plug-and-play solutions, without understanding the principles they’re built on, we risk falling into rigid practices that hinder the very agility we’re trying to achieve. SAFe, and frameworks like it, are tools—not answers. They provide a good starting point. But, success lies in how you're able to adapt them to your unique organizational environment. Transformation isn't about implementing every element of a framework right out of the box; it's about understanding the why behind the framework and using it to foster team collaboration, receive rapid feedback from customers, deliver tangible business value that will move your organization forward, and support long-term change. The challenge for leaders is to find a framework that's going to strike the right balance between structure and flexibility, while ensuring that the pursuit of agility doesn't become constrained by the very frameworks intended to enable it. #Agile #AgileTransformation #ProjectManagement #ChangeManagement #BusinessAgility
