This post by the brilliant Sheri Jacobs, FASAE, CAE really resonates. Your people are the only thing that matters when it comes to company success (it’s a given that the company has to have a product or service someone wants to pay for). My answer to the poll question is “Nope.” Making a great workplace doesn’t require investment. Three things matter ➡️ 1. Respect, 2. Doing what you say you are going to do, and 3. Fairness. This goes both ways. The company owes these things to the employees as much, if not more, than the employee owes them to the company. This month's Avenue M poll is about workplace culture. If you have any examples of the types of workplace culture investments you've made that have been successful - or didn't work but you learned something valuable, please share in the comments.
