The AICPA and NASBA have announced the CPA Competency-Based Experience Pathway, a new initiative allowing candidates to meet licensure requirements by demonstrating essential skills in areas like ethical behavior, critical thinking, and technical expertise in audit, tax, or financial reporting. This pathway won’t replace current options but is designed to adapt to market needs and expand opportunities for future accountants. 🎓 Candidates must still hold a bachelor’s degree, complete one year of experience, and pass the CPA Exam.
