With Thanksgiving only a couple of days away, our attorneys are reflecting on the colleagues, clients, and members of the IP community that fill them with gratitude. In this vein, Knobbe Martens litigation practice chair Sheila Swaroop recently spoke with IAM on litigation trends she is thankful for. Sheila shared her thoughts on the International Trade Commission’s NEXT program and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board’s LEAP program, both of which aim to “advance the oral advocacy skills of patent litigators” in search of more experience. She highlighted how Knobbe Martens has benefitted from both of these programs – and in turn, will continue to empower the next generation of patent litigators arguing complex technology cases.
