“When Faith was six months old, we started therapy through Kids on the Move. The therapists worked with her on rolling over, walking up and down stairs, and improving her fine and gross motor skills. One of her favorite moments was playing with an animal matching toy—when she got it right, it would ‘moo.’ That simple toy brought her so much joy while helping her grow and learn.” ~ Beckstrand Family Faith’s story is a powerful reminder that even small tools, like the right toy, can make a big difference for a child with developmental delays. These toys do more than bring joy—they help build essential skills, boost confidence, and create hope for the future. This is where your business can step in and make a meaningful impact this holiday season. By visiting the Light the World Giving Machines at University Mall or donating online, you can sponsor a developmental toy that supports a child’s growth and learning. Your company’s involvement not only changes lives but also shows your commitment to giving back. Let’s ensure every child has the tools they need to thrive. Together, we can create a better future for children and families in need. #LightTheWorld #KidsOnTheMove #CorporateGiving #HolidayImpact #BeTheChange

"During the time the children are in respite we take much needed time together to keep our relationship strong and be the best possible parents we can. The children benefit from the one-on-one time with their “buddies” with having 7 children at home they do not get a lot of one-on-one time to focus on themselves and this provides them with balance within themselves. Having a program such as this is incredibly significant in providing support to families who have children with disabilities, reducing the stress on the parents, the children and the family as a whole. Thank you for the services you provide to the community and mostly for everything everyone has done for my children and my family.” ~ The Pipkin Family Families with children with disabilities often need a break. Support a night of respite care through a Light the World giving machine at the University Mall or by donating today and offer a family much-needed time to rest and recharge this holiday season. Your kindness makes a real difference! #LightTheWorld #RespiteCare #KidsOnTheMove #ChasingTheImpossible
