TROPICAL WEATHER UPDATE - Thursday, September 12, 2024 Hurricane Francine made landfall near Morgan City, LA (85 miles west of New Orleans). The storm’s eye followed a path that brought Hurricane Francine directly over the New Orleans Metro Area. We experienced significant rain along with hurricane-force winds.
