KBI Biopharma today announced a manufacturing contract with Alanis Therapeutics Inc. for the development of an innovative pre-clinical therapeutic antibody to treat myelodysplastic syndromes and acute myeloid leukemia blood cancers. We are excited to announce that Julie Stiff has been appointed as Senior VP and Site Head at KBI Biopharma’s Boulder, Colorado facility. Julie has been an integral part of the KBI team since her start with us in August 2022. She brings a wealth of experience in engineering and project management, facility operations, capital project and portfolio management, operational program management, GxP systems, and engineering design.     Known for her ability to build and empower teams and foster collaboration, she has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to achieving our goals. Meet Grace McCall (she/her), Senior Research Associate at our Louisville, Colorado facility who has been with KBI Biopharma for four years! In her role, Grace uses a variety of biophysical techniques to characterize a range of protein products and presents the results to our customers. One of the things she’s most excited about now, is an independent study project looking at the self-association of insulin, which she feels has helped her grow her technical acumen over time. When asked her favorite thing about KBI, Grace says, “I love the collaborative spirit of the Louisville site! People are so helpful, and this mindset allows us to generate high quality data for our customers.” She also enjoys that her role enables her to work with a variety of teams across the KBI network. Outside of work, Grace loves to ski and see live music. Fun facts: She skied 22 days last winter and saw 14 concerts in the summer! #KBIBiopharma #TeamMemberTuesday #EmployeeSpotlight
