7 years ago from this week Kanga Coolers home 1st place at the Clemson University Spiro "Pitch Smackdown" competition We ended up winning $8,000 as students in college to help fund our idea When you compare it to the $833.33 that we each invested into Kanga, this was a big chunk Most universities offer more resources for Entrepreneurs than you can imagine My advice to students ... take advantage of these resources! The experience, connections and public speaking practice you can get from an event like this is worth more than the money itself.

From college class project to here has been a WILD ride... This fall we launched into 20 test doors for Academy Sports + Outdoors and if we crush it this holiday season we'll be in more! We would've never thought about opportunity like this would come our way when we were those 21 year old kids sitting in the classroom 🤯
