A big shoutout to Tim Haagen Associate and Senior Planner here at JZMK Partners, for an impressive performance at the Annual Rancho Mission Viejo (RMV) Horse Race golf tournament at Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club! Teamed up with Brian Clarke from RMV, Tim not only qualified for but the “Horse Race” playoff, but secured an outstanding 2nd place finish in front of a loud and boisterous crowd! The day was full of fun and networking opportunities with Tim's foursome including Kurt Troxell from Fuscoe Engineering and Mike Gartlan from KB Home. She holds a Master of Science in Advanced Urban Design from Cornell University, where she was recognized with the prestigious Director’s Award Scholarship as one of the top applicants. She also earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Soochow University in China. Yaya has a strong portfolio of competition experience, including leading a team in the JDC 2021 International Student Competition for the design of Barcelona Youth Apartments and earning third prize in the "Zijin Award" for her work on the renovation of old communities in Suzhou.
