“The flavors run Greek, Lebanese and Turkish, and you can pretty much point on the list and score something wonderful. Recent outings found me inhaling fluffy taramasalata, a whip of carp roe that tastes like the ocean captured in a cloud; seared halloumi strewn with cherries, mint and pistachios; springy skewers of grilled beef with chopped red peppers, onions and walnuts; and fried Brussels sprouts, dappled with garlic yogurt, that aren’t the usual grease trap. Coriander seeds and tart barberries flatter the eating.” Thank you Tom Sietsema The Washington Post for featuring Zaytinya DC in “The 40 Best Restaurants In And Around D.C.” Thrilled to be among such great company. 👏
