2024 marked the beginning of something special. When we opened Fabrik's doors in NYC, we didn't just launch a space – we sparked a movement of connection, creativity, and community powered by our incredible members. What began as a blank canvas has evolved into a vibrant 'third space' where meaningful friendships flourish and ideas come to life. As we head into 2025, we are overwhelmed with gratitude. To our founding members who believed in Fabrik's vision from the start, our dedicated team who brings it to life every day, our wonderful partners, and everyone who has made Fabrik their 'third space'– thank you. You've made this journey possible, and we're just getting started. Here's to 2025 and the countless connections yet to come. - Jaclyn and Gwen Fabrik Co-Founders

𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐞 🧘🏾 I was recently invited by a new friend and fellow founder, Louisa Li, to join Shanti House—a wellness collective for entrepreneurs—for a rare evening of yoga set to live harp music! As someone who’s constantly looking for meaningful ways to connect with creatives and business minds, experiences like this remind me how refreshing it is to nurture our well-being 𝑎𝑛𝑑 relationships in new settings. Thank you, Louisa and Fabrik, for creating a beautiful space to recharge and connect. I feel clearer already...OMMM. Check em out if you're in NYC!

Empowering You to Cultivate Resilience, Belonging, & Lasting Impact Professionally & Personally // Leadership & Mindset Coach

It is a busy and at times overwhelming season for many of us! For me, a bit of a mad dash to the end of the year. While I know stress and overwhelm will continue to be part of the natural cycles we experience as human being, it is not something that needs to color our whole experience or existence. Join me and Derek Kastner on January 6th for an interactive session on Navigating Overwhelm - finding calm in the chaos! Walk into the New Year with a new relationship with overwhelm, a personalized tool to help you interrupt your overwhelm cycles, and other strategies to transcend what feels like a constant loop of stress. What better place to host this workshop than Fabrik ... which was created to uplift communities and foster serendipitous connections in real life. Fabrik’s third spaces are vibrant hubs where people can come together in real life, explore interests, forge meaningful connections, and build a sense of community and belonging. If you know me, you know that I am ALL about this and it is truly an honor to collaborate with this team and their members. I hope to love to see you all there! I promise it will be worth your time.

Building an IRL solution to combat workplace loneliness, uplift communities and create more connection and belonging ✨ | GTM & RevOps Leader for Mission-Driven Companies | CHIEF | Pavilion

Portsmouth ➡️ Boston ➡️ New York City Last (work) trip of 2024. I really loved my Acela 🚆 office this year + seeing this magical message at Starbucks in South Station each visit - “…WE nurture the limitless possibilities of human connection.” 🫶🏻 Since starting Fabrik a year ago, I’m more aware of opportunities to connect with people around me - strike up a conversation, give a compliment, smile at the person walking towards me - and the difference it makes to feel connected. I’m also wildly tuned into what I’ll call “Fabrik Frequencies” 📡. Today two ladies in front of me on the bus connected on their love for knitting 🧶 & chatted the entire hour bus ride. The security man at the exit of the train station 🚉 warmly welcomed everyone to Boston, wishing us all a great day with his contagious smile. ❤️ We are in a global epidemic of loneliness. A startling 61% of us are lonely. I encourage you to take the first step today to connect with someone around you - or tune in to those around you & witness when connections are made IRL. It could make a world of difference - literally. 🌎 👩🏻🤝👨🏼👩🏽🤝👩🏻👨🏿🤝👨🏻💫

Fractional Product Leader | Driving Customer-Centric Innovation in Tech | Uncovering Root Causes and Blind Spots for Founders

F3 (Founders, Funders, Fractionals) brought together 17 incredible Founders & Community Builders for an inspiring 2025 planning session! 🎉 During the workshop, everyone broke into groups to tackle the new year with intention by: 1️⃣ Reflecting on 2024: What worked? What didn’t? And what should we start, stop, or continue? 2️⃣ Visioning the future: Where do I want (brand/community) to be in a few years? 3️⃣ Charting 2025 as a stepping stone: With clarity on their long-term vision, participants identified focus areas for the next year to help make their big-picture goals a reality. Founder | Swing Set Institute

I loved attending the alliterative and inspirational 2025 Planning Retreat of F3 (Founders, Funders, Fractionals) at Fabrik in NYC last week. Nothing like delectable bagels and a dynamic group of founders to catalyze the morning - Swing Set Institute now has its 2025 strategic plan ready and a critical reflection on 2024. And some new fantastic founder friends! #foundercommunity #2025planning #swingsetinstitute

Business Operations & Strategy Advisor | Founder of Shanti House | Ex-BCG

Last night we hosted our 30th and final Shanti House event of the year. I had the opportunity to lead a live harp yoga session alongside professional harpist Alison Restak, then moderated an open conversation with Mai S. and Isha Health's licensed clinicians on mental health and psychotherapy. The stigma in mental health has fortunately gotten better over the years, but there's still work to do. Normalizing alternative medicine starts with creating spaces to have open dialogues and educating ourselves on topics that are considered controversial. I'm proud to support organizations that are pushing the boundaries and promoting awareness on these important causes. Thank you to Fabrik for opening your doors to our community. Big updates for 2025 coming soon!

Personal Chef - Owner | Well Stocked NYC | In-home cooking and meal prepping for busy parents and professionals in New York City

Join me on Wednesday, 12/18 at Fabrik for the December gathering of People Who Thrive, a new community I’m building for New Yorkers who are going after their dreams and want to help others do the same. At each People Who Thrive gathering, a speaker talks for 10 minutes about a time in their life or their career when they asked for help, and receiving that help had a transformative impact. Then, everyone has one minute to address the group and share their elevator pitch, their “ask” (something they need help with), and an “offer” (a way they can be of service to others). When the floor is open for networking, it’s easy to walk right up to someone you can help, someone who can help you, someone whose vision is inspiring, or someone you might want to be friends with. Hyper-independence is overrated; interdependence is how we make things happen. This month’s speaker is Joni Goldbach. Joni Goldbach is a writer, serial entrepreneur, and fractional product leader who works with founders and teams from pre-launch and early-stage startups to well-established businesses through her businesses Heroic Aspirations and Design Sprint Consultants. She takes a pragmatic and customer-focused approach to facilitate the development of new digital products and experiences from ideation to launch. Joni has worked across corporate and startup environments, including American Express, Sweeten, and Savings.com. She also writes at the intersection of food and memory on her Substack, Letters from the Table. Close out 2024 strong and start building your support network of people who have big dreams but know they can’t do it alone. When: Wednesday, December 18th, 6:30pm Where: Fabrik, 12-16 Vestry Street, 4th floor Register: https://lu.ma/2t2531lw *Comped tickets are available for anyone who does not have the ability to pay at this time. Email me at [email protected] if you’d like a free ticket.
